Since this is our first ever publication, we reluctantly printed 1000 copies thinking that we might not be able to sell them all. I remembering telling all our contributors that even if the book doesn't sell a single copy, I'd still consider the project a success. This is a book we made for ourselves, not necessarily to make money from it.
It blows my mind that within 3 and a half months, we have sold a thousand copies of the book! Based on the messages in our inbox, there's still a lot of demand for our book, especially from international readers.
Otiprakrito will still be available through physical bookstores and some online ones, until their stocks last. But we won't be taking any more orders through our Facebook page.
However, we will have same exciting announcments to share right before Eid.
