Over the past few days, I’ve been deeply moved by the outpouring of empathy and encouragement from all of you. Even if I haven’t been able to respond to each of you personally, please know that every single message has contributed towards me feeling hopeful about the future
For those of you concerned about what this break means for Otiprakrito, rest assured that we are committed to honoring our existing plans. Here’s what you can expect:
1️⃣ Continued Availability: Otiprakrito Vol. 1 will remain available at all existing outlets and will also be featured at the upcoming Ekushey Boi Mela 2025.
2️⃣ New Collectibles: We will continue working with our talented artists to create colored versions of our illustrations, which will be available as collectible cards, posters, and bookmarks.
3️⃣ International Edition: An English version of Otiprakrito Vol. 1 is on its way! It will be available through retailers in the US, Canada, and Australia, as well as on platforms like Amazon Kindle and Kobo.
4️⃣ Future Publications: While we haven’t committed to Otiprakrito Vol. 2 just yet, we are excited to announce another book that has emerged directly from our folklore preservation efforts. Stay tuned!
